A photograph of a kitchen you like helps explain the appearance, but your room and routine set the requirements.
Confirm the appliances first
Provide the actual appliance specifications, including the clearances required by their manufacturers. Mark windows and door openings on the plan. Ask the person designing the layout to check access to services and how neighboring doors or drawers open. Resolve these details before finalizing cabinet sizes.
Review more than the door front
Ask about cabinet construction, internal fittings and the finish specification. Compare samples where available and review care instructions.
