Look at the size of a fixture against the wall around it. A mirror, vanity and light need room to sit together. Mark their proposed positions before ordering so you can discuss the arrangement with your installer.
Look where materials meet
Consider the edges beside a cabinet and where flooring meets a doorway. Ask who is responsible for trim and finishing work. These small junctions can affect the finished appearance as much as the main product, and they need a place in the project scope.
Choose fewer competing details
A strong mirror shape may need little around it. Compare the whole room before adding another pattern or metal finish. Keep the materials you like, but ask what each addition contributes. The aim is a room that works for you, rather than a collection of expensive objects.
